We have always offered the most renown of preservative treatments for timber, producing genuine TANALISED® E treated timber for a wide range of end uses, including general building, fencing, decking and landscaping applications. But now G E Robinson has invested in the very latest technology to protect yourbuilding and joinery timbers with VACSOL® AQUApreservative.

Utilising a low pressure/double vacuum process this fast treatment will provide a proven protection for your timber frame components, truss material and softwood joinery - in fact any internal or external building timbers used above dpc level - ensuring a service life of up to 60 years. Providing total protection against all forms of wood decay and insect attack water based VACSOL® AQUA treatment is approved by the National House Building Council and major house builders.

We can offer you very competitive prices for both types of treated timber and can even service treat your own timbers, if required - so why not test our service.

Impregnated using proven double vacuum low pressure technology and VACSOL® AQUA - a modern and unique formulation. Effective , long term protection against decay and insect attack.

Designed for use in internal and external building applications above dpc level - Use Classes 1 - 3.1. Treatment leaves the appearance of the timber virtually unchanged. A colour additive can be used to aid identification of the treated timber.

Treatment does not significantly alter the dimensions or moisture content of the timber - ideal for stress graded material in accordance with BS4978. Approved by the National House Building Council and major house builders.

We have four TRADA qualified stress graders on site here at Salford that can visually grade any timber to C16 or C24.

New Beam Saw

We have an SCM Z32D Automatic Beam Saw with grippers & side aligner for crosscutting. This will enable us to cut to size panels from sheets as thick as 60mm and as large 2050 x 1525 mm. We would welcome any enquiries you may have for any C.T.S. panels.

Moulding Machinery & Extraction Equipment

We have invested heavily in 2 brand new Wadkin Moulding Machines & a Nordfab Woodwaste Extraction System. This has enabled us to increase production & the quality of the mouldings we offer. We have re-designed both the Moulding Mill & the Resawing Mill to improve the efficiency of both Mills. Systek Tally Beams have been fitted to all 3 of our Moulding Machines. These computerised measuring systems provide printed specification labels thus improving presentation. In the Toolroom we have invested in a state of the art Computer Aided Design package that can design & cut templates for our cutters.
